Susan April is a poet and fiction writer born and raised in Kerouac’s Lowell. She has a MFA from Vermont College, and degrees from the University of Chicago and the University of Massachusetts at Lowell. She collects old bottles and chunks of granite, which will—in a far future—become sea glass and sand.
